Intended platform capabilities
Dual Oceans is designing and building Stage 0, a small uncrewed surface vehicle.
Stage 0 is being designed to:
- Carry and test customizable payloads such as a camera, data logging sensors, and an echosounder
- Run pre-planned autonomous routes in open water
- Stream georeferenced data and video to shore
- Operate without the cost of a crewed vessel
Design and prototype testing of the core systems is under way. The build phases target the end of 2026.

Engineering support
- Design Support: Advice, reviews, or full design work for marine hardware: housings, connectors, power and controls, fabrication drawings.
- Deployment & Field Support: Planning and on-site help with installation, commissioning, sea trials, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Advisory: Ocean-readiness reviews for teams new to seawater, inspection and survey planning, and vendor and fabricator management.
- Inspection and survey planning is advisory only. Dual Oceans owns no survey equipment.
